AI Automation Society Plus Skool community review

Is AI Automation Society Plus Worth It?

I spent time inside AI Automation Society Plus, went through the classroom, and looked at everything they offer. My take? If you’re serious about building AI automations with n8n and charging clients for it, this community delivers. 3,300+ members. Six structured courses. A founder who’s won Skool Games 4 times. This isn’t a Discord server with random tips. But at $99/month, you need to show up. Passive members will waste their money. The active ones? Some are reporting $6,000 to $14,000 in client work. Rating: 4.3/5.

What Is AI Automation Society Plus on Skool?

Nate Herk built this Skool community around one idea: teach people to build AI automations and get paid for it. He’s a verified n8n Expert Partner and 4-time Skool Games Winner, so the credentials check out.

Right now there are 3,300+ members inside with 20 admins keeping things running. The community covers AI foundations, n8n automation, and eventually how to turn those skills into an actual agency. It’s part bootcamp, part freelancer incubator. You learn the technical side first, then the business side.

AI Automation Society Plus classroom courses overview

What’s Inside the Classroom?

Six courses total. They’re structured so each one builds on the previous, which honestly makes a difference compared to communities that just dump content with no clear path.

1. START HERE is your onboarding. Quick orientation so you don’t end up confused about where to begin. Nothing groundbreaking, but it solves the “I just paid $99 and have no idea what to do” problem.

2. Agent Zero (Foundations) goes surprisingly deep for what I expected. Five modules covering the theory behind AI before you touch any automation tools.

You’ll go through Large Language Models across 6 lessons (how LLMs work, open vs closed source, prompt engineering), Data Foundations in 5 lessons (data types, JSON, data processing), and APIs and HTTP Requests. Then there’s a 9-lesson breakdown of RAG and Vector Databases covering embeddings, tokenization, and context windows. The last module, ChatGPT to Autonomous Agents, walks through AI workflows, AI agents, voice agents, and ethical AI across 5 lessons.

Most Skool communities skip this kind of foundation work entirely. AIS+ doesn’t, and that’s probably why their members can actually build things that hold up.

3. 10 Hours to 10 Seconds is my favorite concept in the whole community. Instead of jumping straight into building workflows (which is what everyone does, then they automate stuff that doesn’t even matter), this course teaches you how to figure out what’s actually worth automating. Phase 1 has you do time audits and ICE scoring to find your highest-impact tasks. Phase 2 is mapping out manual processes step by step. Phase 3 helps you spot where automation creates the biggest return. Sounds simple but I’ve seen people build entire workflows that save them 5 minutes a week. This course prevents that.

4. n8n Masterclass is the meat of the whole program. Six modules taking you from n8n basics through Workflows, AI Workflows, AI Agents, Advanced RAG, and finally Smarter Workflows covering optimization and error handling. They also include 100+ n8n templates so you’re not staring at a blank canvas. Honestly, this module alone could justify the monthly price if you’re committed to learning n8n.

5. One Person AI Automation Agency is locked until you’ve been a member for 168 days or you upgrade to Premium annual. This one teaches how to find clients, price your work, and run a solo AI agency. It’s the course that turns your technical skills into actual income.

6. Subs to Sales is also locked with the same requirements. It covers content creation and marketing for your AI business, so you can generate leads and build an audience around automation services.

The locked courses are frustrating because they’re arguably the ones that’ll make you money. But I get the logic: they want you to actually have the skills before you start selling them.

What Else Does AI Automation Society Plus Offer?

Outside of courses, you get unlimited tech support with what they call a 100% Resolution Guarantee. Stuck on a workflow that won’t fire? They’ll help you fix it. Weekly live Q&As are recorded so you can watch later, and they bring in industry guest speakers pretty regularly. There’s a job board, community categories for agency owners looking to collaborate or hire, and social events called “Chill, Chat & Chaos.” A Vibe Coding course is apparently in the works too.

They’ve got a gamification system with 9 levels. 48% of members sit at Level 1 (AI Explorer) and it drops off sharply from there. Level 9, AI Grandmaster, has 0% of members and unlocks Lifetime Membership. Make of that what you will.

What Are the Downsides of AI Automation Society Plus?

The price is steep. $99/month is 11x what you’d pay for a community like AI Video Bootcamp at $9/month. If you’re still evaluating AI tools, check out some affordable alternatives first. You’re paying for n8n specialization and that tech support guarantee, but if you’re just exploring AI casually, spend your money somewhere cheaper first.

The money-making courses are gated. The Agency and Subs to Sales courses need Premium annual or 168 days of membership. That’s almost 6 months of paying $99 before you access the business training on the standard plan. Kind of annoying when those are the courses most people signed up for.

It’s n8n or nothing. If you want to learn Make or Zapier, look elsewhere. The entire curriculum is built around n8n. Good if you’ve already chosen n8n. Not great if you haven’t decided yet.

Engagement drops off. Nearly half the members sitting at Level 1 raises questions. Could be a flood of new members. Could be people signing up, poking around, and not sticking with it.

How Much Does AI Automation Society Plus Cost?

$99/month gets you access to courses 1 through 4, the community, tech support, templates, and live Q&As.

Premium annual unlocks everything, including the Agency course, Subs to Sales, and they claim over $3M in savings through Google Cloud credits and 500+ partner deals.

Quick math: hiring someone to build one n8n automation runs $500 to $2,000+. If you learn to build them yourself, one client project pays for months of membership.

Who Should Join AI Automation Society Plus?

Best for:

  • Beginners who want structured AI automation training instead of random YouTube tutorials
  • Small business owners trying to automate operations and reduce overhead
  • Freelancers who want to sell AI automation as a service to clients
  • Anyone who’s picked n8n as their automation platform and wants to go deep

Skip if:

  • You’re casually curious about AI and don’t want to spend $99/month to explore
  • You prefer Make, Zapier, or another automation platform
  • You can’t put in at least 5 hours a week on the coursework
  • You already know n8n well and just want community access

Frequently Asked Questions

Is AI Automation Society Plus worth $99/month? If you’re actively building automations or planning to start an AI agency, I’d say yes. The templates, tech support, and structured path from beginner to agency owner add up. If you won’t touch it every week, save your money.

Who is Nate Herk? He’s won Skool Games 4 times and is a verified n8n Expert Partner. He built AIS+ from the ground up, and the community now has 3,300+ members with 20 admins.

Can you actually make money with these skills? Some members have reported earning $6,000 to $14,000. One member got into talks with State Farm. The skills are genuinely in demand since businesses need automation. Combine these with AI video tools for client demos and you’re even more competitive. But your results come down to finding clients and delivering quality work, not just finishing courses.

How long does it take to finish the courses? Agent Zero and the n8n Masterclass are the longest. Realistically, 2 to 3 months to work through the core material if you’re consistent. The locked courses need 168 days or Premium annual to unlock.

What’s the difference between monthly and Premium annual? Monthly at $99 gives you 4 of 6 courses plus community features. Premium annual opens up all 6 courses including Agency and Subs to Sales, along with the $3M+ in partner deals and savings.
