This Claude Code Club review covers a $9 a month Skool community, run by Duncan Rogoff and David Iya, that teaches beginners to build websites, agents and tools with Claude Code. On October 31, 2026 it had 9,226 members and a 4.9 rating from 135 Skool reviews. I pay the $9 myself. It is worth it for a beginner who wants a structured start. Know two things before you join: the “price goes up soon” counter has been wrong four times, and the business modules now sit in a $33 tier.

Claude Code Club Review: My Verdict

Claude Code Club is the cheapest guided way into Claude Code I have found on Skool. For $9 a month the Standard plan gives you 9 core stages, 600+ lessons and one group coaching call a month, per the Skool plans page checked October 31, 2026. If the lessons save you one evening of YouTube searching, the month has paid for itself.

Liked: the price and the beginner path. Glenn Davis, a paying member for 5 months, wrote that “the lessons are short and easily remembered” in his September 2026 Skool review.

Did not like: the urgency marketing. The sales page has promised a price rise at four different member counts and has not raised it yet. And the $9 plan is now the entry tier, not the whole product.

Bottom line: join at $9 if you are new to Claude Code. Skip it if you already ship software with it. Wait on Premium until Standard has given you a reason to upgrade.

How I Wrote This Review

This Claude Code Club review is based on my own paid $9 Standard membership, started in October 2026, plus the Skool about and plans pages, claudecodeclub.ai, 135 Skool member reviews and three independent reviews, all checked on October 31, 2026. It is not a lesson-by-lesson classroom tour.

Every claim on this page about what is inside the club comes from named sources: the Skool about and plans pages, the club’s own website at claudecodeclub.ai, 135 member reviews on Skool, and three independent reviews: AcademyGems and Skoolmakers, two Skool review sites, and OverHyped Reviews, a YouTube channel. Most numbers carry their date. Our full process is on the review methodology page.

One naming warning first. Claude Code Club is not the same community as Claude Club on Skool. That one is run by Samin Yasar, lives at skool.com/claude and costs $97 a month. Google mixes the two up, so check the URL before you pay.

What Is Claude Code Club?

Claude Code Club is a paid Skool community at skool.com/claudecodeclub that teaches Claude Code to people who do not write code. It promises to take you from setup to shipping in 45 days, with weekly updates as Claude Code changes. The group opened on Skool on August 20, 2025 and grew to 9,226 members by October 31, 2026.

Claude Code Club Skool about page showing a 4.9 rating from 135 reviews, 9.2k members and the $9/month join button

The about page sets out the 45-day goals. You set up Claude Code properly, build real tools from day one, use ready-made skills and prompts, and “do it all without writing code”. The pitch line is “If you can type, you can build.”

The club’s website lists the depth behind that: a nine-stage course, 50+ skills, 25+ MCP servers, 650+ prompts, 100+ templates and a 24/7 Open Claw agent setup (claudecodeclub.ai, checked October 31, 2026). Lesson counts differ by page. The plans page says 600+ lessons in the core stages. AcademyGems counted 48 courses across 696 modules from Skool data on October 8, 2026.

Who Runs Claude Code Club?

Claude Code Club is run by two co-founders, Duncan Rogoff and David Iya. Duncan owns the Skool group and does most of the teaching. His Skool bio reads “Ex - Apple, PlayStation, Nissan”. The website adds that he built a $100K+ AI agency in 90 days, runs The Build Room and has 200K+ followers.

The bigger credentials on the sales page belong to David Iya. The website credits him with Forbes 30 Under 30, Y Combinator, $70M+ in GMV, $14M+ raised and 1M+ users across 30 countries. AcademyGems lists “Forbes 30 Under 30, YC alumni” under the club without naming David. The credentials are David’s, and all of them are self-reported. Neither AcademyGems nor we could check them against an outside record.

What members do confirm is access. Leander B wrote in an August 2026 Skool review that “the owners themselves are really hands-on, replying personally”. Glenn Davis names “David and Duncan’s lessons” as the reason he keeps coming back.

Claude Code Club Pricing: Standard vs Premium

Claude Code Club has two plans: Standard at $9 a month and Premium at $33 a month, per the Skool plans page checked October 31, 2026. Premium adds the business modules, 50+ ready-to-run skills and a second live coaching call each month. The three independent reviews we read (AcademyGems, Skoolmakers and OverHyped Reviews) describe only the $9 tier.

PlanMonthly priceWhat you getBest for
Standard$99 core stages, 600+ lessons, every YouTube skill and resource, beginner setup from zero, 1 group coaching call a monthBeginners who want a structured start
Premium$33Everything in Standard, plus business modules (100+ lessons), 50+ ready-to-run skills and MCPs, monthly new skills, “Build Your AI Team” agents, 2 live coaching calls a monthMembers who want to sell what they build
Claude Code Profit Room (separate group)$249 on the join buttonDuncan’s higher-tier group aimed at landing a first paying AI clientPeople already building who want clients

Two details on the annual plan. The plans page says “50% off Annual (6 Months Free)” on both tiers. The about page says “Go annual and save 30% or 3 months FREE!” Both were live on October 31, 2026. Check the figure at checkout before you pay for a year.

Claude Code Profit Room is a separate Skool group at the top of Duncan’s ladder. Its join button showed $249 a month on October 31, 2026, while its description said “Lock in $397/mo”. It had 205 members and 4.3 stars from 7 reviews.

Does the $9 price go up?

The $9 price has not gone up yet, even though the sales page has named four member counts as the cutoff. The club passed all four and still charged $9 on October 31, 2026, at 9,226 members.

Cutoff namedThreatened priceWhere it was recorded
7,700 membersnot statedEarlier indexed sales page, per OverHyped Reviews (August 22, 2026)
8,100 members$58/monthSales page, per AcademyGems (October 8, 2026)
8,400 members$69/monthSales page, per OverHyped Reviews (August 22, 2026)
8,500 members$69/monthAn earlier AcademyGems check (date not given)

The about page now promises “Lock in $9/month for life”. The website FAQ says the price you join at is the price you keep. That lock holds whatever the counter says, so it is the part worth weighing.

What You Really Pay to Learn Claude Code Here

The real monthly cost of Claude Code Club is $29: the $9 membership plus a paid Claude plan, which Claude Code needs to run. Anthropic includes Claude Code in every paid plan. The cheapest is Pro at $20 billed monthly, or $17 a month billed yearly (claude.com/pricing, checked October 31, 2026). The same page lists Max at $100 a month.

SetupClubClaude planMonthly totalFirst 12 months
Standard + Pro (monthly)$9$20$29$348
Standard + Pro (annual Claude)$9$17$26$312
Premium + Pro (monthly)$33$20$53$636
Standard + Max$9$100$109$1,308

The twelve-month figures assume you pay the club monthly. Claude’s usage limits apply on Pro, and heavy coding sessions push people toward Max. Start on Standard with Pro. Upgrade only when a limit actually stops you.

What Members Say Inside Claude Code Club

Members rate Claude Code Club 4.9 out of 5 from 135 reviews on its Skool about page (October 31, 2026), and the praise centres on the price and founders who answer. Independent scores run lower: Skoolmakers gives the club 4.4 out of 5, with support at 4.1.

Member reviews on the Claude Code Club Skool page, each with a 5-star rating and how long the reviewer has been a paying member

  • Price. Leander B: “The value for $9/month is wild too.” Glenn Davis calls the price “SO reasonable when compared to other communities”.
  • Fast first wins. Santella Austin: “I’ve revamped my website that I had for 15 years within a few days.” She also wrote, “When I first came and I saw all the content, I thought there was a catch.”
  • Beginners fit in. Harper L: “You can come in with very little experience, start building immediately.”
  • Feeling seen. Tracy T: “I have joined several in the past who only made me feel like a number and not a member.”

Most of these reviewers had been members for 2 to 5 months when they wrote.

What Are the Downsides of Claude Code Club?

The biggest downside of Claude Code Club is a sales page that promises more than its proof shows. The $9 price-rise countdown has slipped at 7,700, 8,100, 8,400 and 8,500 members, the business modules cost $33 a month, and 2 admins serve 9,226 members.

  1. The countdown keeps moving. The page named 7,700, 8,100, 8,400 and 8,500 members, and the price stayed $9 each time. AcademyGems flagged “heavy scarcity and urgency marketing on the sales page”.
  2. $9 is the entry tier now. The business modules, the 50+ ready-to-run skills and the second monthly call are Premium features at $33.
  3. No income data. The website shows picked wins, such as “Signed a $6K build plus $1,200/month retainer.” It does not say how many members earned anything. OverHyped Reviews put it plainly: Claude Code “can’t make businesses automatically pay you.”
  4. Thin staff for the size. Skool lists 2 admins for 9,226 members. Skoolmakers notes that support “can feel less personal than a small group”.
  5. Tutorials age fast. Claude Code ships changes often. Skoolmakers warns that “some tutorials can go stale between updates”, and the club’s answer is weekly updates.
  6. Numbers drift between pages. The website still says 8,000+ members and 650+ lessons. Skool says 9.2k and the plans page says 600+.
  7. Most outside reviews are affiliates. AcademyGems disclosed free access from Duncan on October 27, 2026. Skoolmakers and this page use affiliate links too. Weigh every review, this one included, with that in mind.

Who Should Join Claude Code Club?

Claude Code Club fits beginners and non-coders who will pay about $29 a month in total: the $9 club plus $20 for Claude Pro. Developers who already ship with Claude Code should skip it. AcademyGems, Skoolmakers and OverHyped Reviews all reach the same view.

Join if you:

  • have never opened Claude Code and want a set order to learn it in
  • will spend $29 a month in total, club plus Claude Pro
  • learn better from short lessons than from long YouTube tutorials

Skip if you:

  • already ship software with Claude Code. AcademyGems says the same, and the free docs will cover you.
  • want one-to-one coaching. Standard has one group call a month.
  • are joining mainly to earn money fast. Look at how you will find clients first.

What Does Claude Code Club’s 45-Day Roadmap Promise?

Claude Code Club’s 45-day roadmap is its core promise: set up Claude Code, build on day one and know what to build next. The website FAQ says “most builders ship their first real project in week 1” and that “many members land their first paid project within 30 to 60 days”. Both claims are the seller’s. No independent source has measured them.

The website lists the outputs the stages aim at: websites, AI agents, content and small tools, then a monetization stage covering freelancing, your own products and agency work. Reader questions

What people actually ask us

Will the $9 price actually go up?

Asked on OverHyped Reviews (YouTube, August 2026)

Not yet, and the countdown has not been a reliable deadline. The page has named 7,700, 8,100, 8,400 and 8,500 members as the cutoff, and the club passed every one of them at $9. If you join, the about page says you keep the price you joined at.

Can you actually make money after joining?

Asked on OverHyped Reviews (YouTube, August 2026)

The club's website quotes picked member wins. It shows a $6K build plus a $1,200 a month retainer. Nobody publishes how many of the 9,226 members earn anything, and finding clients is still your job. Join to learn Claude Code, and treat the income quotes as advertising.

Is there a catch at $9 a month?

Asked on Skool member review (Santella Austin, August 2026)

Two small ones. You still pay Anthropic for Claude, and the deeper business material sits in the $33 Premium tier. Beyond that, the $9 plan is what it says: the core stages, the lessons and the community.

Do I need coding experience to join?

Asked on Google People Also Ask

No. The plans page lists "no code needed" next to the 9 core stages, and Standard includes a beginner setup from zero. AcademyGems, Skoolmakers and OverHyped Reviews all say it suits non-coders best.

The Breakdown

Full pros & cons

What we liked
  • $9 a month gets the 9 core stages and 600+ lessons, with no code needed to start
  • Members rate it 4.9 from 135 Skool reviews and keep praising the short lessons
  • Both founders, Duncan Rogoff and David Iya, reply to members themselves, per Skool reviews from Leander B and Glenn Davis
  • Cancel anytime, so the downside is one $9 month
What could be better
  • The "$9 until N members" countdown has moved at least 4 times, so treat it as marketing
  • Business modules, 50+ skills and 2 live coaching calls a month sit in the $33 Premium tier
  • You also need a paid Claude plan ($20/mo Pro) to run Claude Code at all
  • 2 admins for 9,226 members, so personal help gets stretched
  • No published data on how many members earn money
