Skool has become the default platform for paid AI and creator communities. This page ranks every Skool community we have reviewed. The Paid column shows which ones we bought with our own money. Pick by goal. If you want AI automation income, start with AI Automation Society Plus, AI Profit Boardroom, or AI Video Bootcamp. If you want creator-economy training, look at Founder OS and School of Mentors. If you want to study what works before paying, read the negative ones first. They tell you more about what to avoid than the positive reviews tell you about what to buy.

The biggest Skool communities right now

Skool publishes no total community count, and its Discovery directory pages through a 1,000 group cap that omits every private group. So "biggest" only means biggest among the paid communities Skool lists publicly. Here is that list as we read it on 11 September 2026, with Skool's own member counts.

Size is the weakest buying signal there is

A 27,000 member group and a 400 member group can deliver the same thing for your money, and often the small one delivers more. What moves the needle is whether the founder still answers threads personally, how recently the classroom was updated, and whether the promised outcome shows up in member posts rather than in testimonials on the sales page. The database above tracks exactly those three, which is why our top rated community is not our biggest.

The leaderboard you see inside every group is a retention mechanic. Members earn a point per like and climb levels 1 to 9, and founders gate bonus modules behind a level to keep people posting. Read it as proof people are active, not as proof the training works.

How many communities are on Skool?
Skool does not publish a total. Its public Discovery directory at skool.com/discovery pages through a maximum of 1,000 listed communities, and only public groups that opt in appear there at all. Private and unlisted groups are invisible to the directory, so the real number is considerably higher than anything you can count from the outside. We track 28 paid communities in depth on this page rather than trying to index all of them.
What is the biggest community on Skool?
Of the paid communities listed on Skool Discovery when we read it on 11 September 2026, AI Video Bootcamp was the largest at 27,719 members, followed by Health = Looks at 7,559 and Imperio Agentico at 3,985. Free communities can run larger than any of these but are not always listed, so treat this as the biggest on the public paid directory rather than the biggest on the platform.
How does Skool community discovery work?
Discovery ranks public communities using a mix of member count, activity, and paid placement. You can filter by category and price, but you cannot sort by member count, and private groups never appear. Most paid communities get their members from the founder audience on YouTube or Instagram instead, which is why the directory is a poor way to judge whether a community is worth paying for.
What are Skool leaderboards and do they matter?
Every Skool group runs a points leaderboard. Members earn one point per like on their posts and comments, and points unlock levels 1 through 9. Founders often gate bonus modules behind a level. It is a retention mechanic, not a quality signal. A busy leaderboard tells you people are posting, and nothing about whether the training works.
Are Skool groups and Skool communities the same thing?
Yes. Skool uses "group" in its own product and URLs, and "community" in its marketing. A Skool group at skool.com/example and a Skool community are the same object. Each one bundles a discussion feed, a classroom of courses, a calendar, and a leaderboard under one membership.
How much do Skool communities cost?
Across the 28 communities we track, paid access runs from roughly $19 to $297 per month, and the most common price point is $97 per month. Founders set their own price and can grandfather early members at a lower rate, so what you see on the join page today is not necessarily what a long-standing member pays. Many run a 7 or 14 day trial.
Can you try a Skool community before paying?
Some, not all. A free trial is set by the community founder, not by Skool, so it varies group by group. Where a trial exists it is usually 7 or 14 days and still requires a card. The platform itself offers a 14 day free trial if you want to create your own community rather than join one.
