The verdict
The Funnel Builder Certification is good value if you’ll build funnels for paying clients on ClickFunnels for three years or more. The lifetime account and 25 resellable workspaces carry most of the value, and the coaching is a bonus. It’s poor value if you want a credential to land your first client, because you need $10,000 in sales before the certificate exists.
Most reviews of this program describe it as “training and a test.” ClickFunnels’ own help doc says otherwise. Every claim below comes from that doc, updated May 22, 2026, unless I say so.
What is the Funnel Builder Certification?
The Funnel Builder Certification is a coaching program from ClickFunnels that trains members to build, design and optimize funnels and to run a funnel-building business. It’s taught through recorded lessons, live support calls and hands-on assignments. Progress is tracked with skill badges tied to real revenue milestones.
It replaces the older idea of a one-time certificate exam. Members move through four levels, each unlocked by verified sales from funnels they built:

25 workspaces, not 50
Several reviews, including Markinblog’s in March 2026, say the bundle includes 50 reseller accounts. ClickFunnels’ certification doc lists 25 client workspaces. Its separate Agency App doc caps any agency at 50. The bundle number may have changed since March. Confirm it on the order form, because it decides how much you can earn reselling accounts. How do you pay, and what’s the catch?
Enrollment runs only through the free One Comma Club Challenge. When you reach the offer during the challenge, you pay a $997 deposit on the $5,500 program. Then you choose:

Before you pay, note these terms:
- The 7-day default. If you don’t choose an option within 7 days of the deposit, ClickFunnels puts you on the three-payment plan automatically. That costs $897 more.
- Training access depends on the subscription. The doc says access continues “as long as the Funnel Builder Coaching & Certification Program subscription remains active.” Cancel, and the course content, templates and replays go. Markinblog and The Funnel Road report a $297 yearly fee after the first year.
- Existing accounts get moved over. If you already pay for ClickFunnels, a form after checkout transfers your account to the Funnel Builder Plan, with an extension applied if needed.
Is the certification worth $5,500?
The certification is worth $5,500 if you value the lifetime account and plan to resell workspaces. It isn’t worth it if you’re buying the credential. Here’s how the money breaks down.
The software side. A lifetime ClickFunnels account replaces paying for a regular plan. Against annual Scale at $1,970 a year, a $5,500 account plus $297 a year breaks even in about 3.3 years. My ClickFunnels discount guide shows that math for every plan.
The reselling side. If you charge each client $97 a month, the price of ClickFunnels’ Launch plan, about five paying clients cover the first year. All 25 workspaces filled would bring in $29,100 a year.
The credential side. The directory listing only starts at Bronze, after $10,000 in sales. For a beginner, the certificate comes after the first clients, not before. The Funnel Builder Marketplace, a separate client-matching site, shows a “Rated 4.9 from 5,606 reviews” badge on its homepage, so there’s demand on the hiring side. You still need to qualify to be listed.
Who should buy it and who shouldn’t
Buy it if:
- You already build funnels for clients, or have clients lined up.
- You’ll stay on ClickFunnels for three years or more.
- You want live coaching on offers and agency sales as well as the software.
Skip it if:
- You haven’t made a sale yet. Take the free One Comma Club Challenge and a cheap ClickFunnels plan first.
- You need the certificate to win clients. You’ll need $10,000 in sales before you have it.
