This Jdub Trades review checks the prices at Whop’s checkout, because the most visible “official” site gets them wrong. Jdub Trades is an options and futures trading community run by Jack, who posts as Jdub. It’s sold on Whop, a marketplace for paid communities. Premium costs $200 a month as of October 31, 2026, or $2,400 a year, or $3,000 one time. A free tier exists. Members rate Premium 4.8 from 537 Whop reviews, and 18,446 people have joined the store.
We have not joined Jdub Trades Premium. We built this review from the Whop product page and checkout (read October 31, 2026), all 537 Whop ratings, Jack’s YouTube channel, XTraderHub’s May 2026 Premium review, and r/Daytrading threads. Read how we research, or browse our other reviews.

Jdub Trades Review: The Short Verdict
Jdub Trades is a real teaching community with happy members, but $200 a month is a lot to pay before you know the style suits you. Start on the free tier and Jack’s free YouTube course. Upgrade to Premium only if you already trade a little, you can watch the US market open most mornings, and you want live sessions plus feedback on your trades.
Stay on the free tier if you’re brand new, you work during US market hours, your broker isn’t one the team can help with, or you want proof of results before paying. Premium has no trial, and the yearly plan doesn’t save money. Twelve monthly payments of $200 come to $2,400, the same as the yearly price.
Options and futures carry real risk. An options buyer can lose the whole premium, and futures can lose more than you deposit. The Options Clearing Corporation’s Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options covers the options side. This review is not financial advice.
Who Is Jdub, the Trader Behind Jdub Trades?
Jdub is Jack, an options and futures trader who runs Jdub Trades on Whop. His Whop bio reads “Options/Futures Trader | 5+ Years Experience.” In a YouTube video uploaded April 5, 2026, he says he has traded for 7 years. Whop reviewers also name Tony as a second mentor. One wrote that “Jack and Tony genuinely care about teaching you how to fish.”
Jack’s YouTube channel is the main way people find Jdub Trades. His free “How To Start Day Trading As A Beginner (2026 Full Guide)” runs 2 hours 57 minutes. In r/Daytrading, one user called the channel “rly good free content”, and another grouped Jdub Trades with Scarface Trades as “one of the more beginner friendly channels and strategies.” Both comments are snippets from older threads, so read them as reputation, not proof.
What Do You Get in Jdub Trades Premium?
Jdub Trades Premium is a paid Whop membership that bundles Jack’s course, live trading and personal feedback. The Whop listing calls it “The #1 personalized options coaching program” and says members get “Access Scarface, our full course, daily reviews, and personalized feedback.” The store menu shows these sections:
- Accelerator Course: Jack’s structured course. jdubtrade.com, an affiliate site, says it runs 20+ hours. We couldn’t confirm the length on Whop.
- Trading Content and Announcements: daily posts and trade reviews.
- Telegram: the chat where alerts and updates go.
- Scarface Trades access: XTraderHub reports Jack is staff at Scarface Trades, a related community.
- Bounties, Whop Wheel and Free Prizes: Whop’s engagement extras.
Jack’s YouTube descriptions call the community a “Discord Group”, but the link opens the Whop store. Plan on using Whop and Telegram.
The live sessions run around the US market open. A member testimonial on jdubtrade.com praises the “8 am daily lives”. If you work a 9-to-5 in the US, you’ll miss most of them.
How Much Does Jdub Trades Cost?
Jdub Trades Premium costs $200 a month on Whop as of November 4, 2026. Whop’s checkout shows two other ways to pay: $2,400 a year or $3,000 once. The Free Trading Community costs nothing. The yearly plan costs the same as paying monthly for 12 months, so the only real discount is the one-time plan, and it only pays off if you stay longer than 15 months.
| Plan | Price | Cost over 12 months | Cost over 24 months |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free Trading Community | $0 | $0 | $0 |
| Premium, monthly | $200/month | $2,400 | $4,800 |
| Premium, yearly | $2,400/year | $2,400 | $4,800 |
| Premium, one-time | $3,000 | $3,000 | $3,000 |
Whop shows a “1% off” badge on the yearly plan, but $200 times 12 is exactly $2,400. We read the badge at checkout on October 31, 2026 and couldn’t find what it compares against. The yearly plan only commits you to 12 months up front.
The one-time plan costs the same as 15 monthly payments. A member who pays monthly for 10 months and quits spends $2,000, which is $1,000 less than the one-time price. Pay monthly first, and switch only once you know you’re staying.

Why do other sites list $1,499 and $2,999?
Those prices come from jdubtrade.com, which looks like the official site but isn’t. Its footer calls it an “independent affiliate promotional website” not affiliated with Jdub Trades LLC. jdubtradesreview.com checked Whop on October 2, 2026 and found $2,400 and $3,000, which matches the checkout today.
Does Jdub Trades Show Proof of Results?
Jdub Trades does not publish a verified profit and loss record for Jack or for members. XTraderHub’s May 2026 review calls this a “transparency gap” for performance-focused traders. Meanwhile, video titles on Jack’s channel include “My Trading Strategy Is Boring, But It Makes Me $44000/Month” and “The 1D Trading Strategy That Makes Me Over $50000/Month.” No broker statement or audit comes with those numbers, so read them as the seller’s claims.
In a July 2025 video he says one entry system grew his account by over $50,000 in a month. His Whop bio, by contrast, promises “a realistic expectation” of what becoming a trader takes. Hold Jack to the bio. Without a published record, you can’t check how his calls or his members perform. Ask in the free tier whether a trade log exists before paying.
What Do Jdub Trades Members Say?
Jdub Trades members rate Premium 4.8 out of 5 from 537 Whop ratings as of November 4, 2026. Of those, 481 are 5 stars and 7 are 1 star. Whop collects these reviews from buyers on its own store, and no third party audits them. The praise centres on Jack’s clear teaching, and the complaints centre on price and broker support.
| Stars | Share | Count |
|---|---|---|
| 5 | 90% | 481 |
| 4 | 9% | 46 |
| 3 | 0.6% | 3 |
| 2 | 0% | 0 |
| 1 | 1% | 7 |
A member writing two years after buying said “Jack has a simplified way to look at markets which makes it much easier to trade.” Another, three months in, called him an “Amazing mentor, takes his time to go over his trades.”
The most detailed complaint came 4 months after purchase: “Not worth the money, VERY expensive. Paid to learn options, then they release a free options training video.” The same member said the team teaches on Interactive Brokers (IBKR), which they couldn’t use, and that they asked for tutorials for other platforms without getting any. Ask which brokers the team supports before you pay.
Iyanda Okin, an affiliate YouTube reviewer, added smaller friction points in July 2025. The live chat gets noisy when a trade sets up, replies can take hours, and the risk-management lessons are “packed into a few videos.”
Of the four top reviews Whop showed us, two were one-word or two-word notes (“Awesome”, “Thank you”). The long, dated reviews tell you more.
How Does Jdub Trades Compare With Other Whop Trading Communities?
Jdub Trades is at the expensive end of Whop trading communities at $200 a month, tied with Scarface Trades. The Options Cartel costs $125 a month for alerts plus education, and Skylit sells data from $149 with no calls. None of the alert or course groups publishes a verified P&L.
| Community | Monthly price | Free tier | Proof published |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jdub Trades Premium | $200 | Yes | No verified P&L |
| Scarface Trades | $200 (per XTraderHub, May 2026) | Check Whop | No verified P&L reported |
| The Options Cartel Full Access | $125 | Yes | No audited track record |
| Skylit Heatseeker Community | $149 | Free Live Stages only | A data tool, no signals |
Over 12 months on monthly billing, Jdub Trades Premium costs $2,400, The Options Cartel $1,500 and Skylit Community $1,788. The extra $900 over The Options Cartel buys live sessions around the US open and personal trade feedback from Jack, not more alerts.
Choose Jdub Trades if Jdub’s (Jack’s) YouTube style already works for you and you want to trade the open with him. Choose The Options Cartel if you want alerts from several traders on a cheaper plan. Choose Skylit if you want data and plan to make your own calls.
Jdub Trades FAQ
Is Jdub Trades legit?
Jdub Trades is a legit paid trading community on Whop with 537 ratings averaging 4.8 and 18,473 members joined as of November 4, 2026. It does not publish a verified P&L, so legit means real teaching from a real trader, not proven profits.

Can I cancel Jdub Trades anytime?
Yes. You can cancel the monthly plan from your Whop account before the next renewal. The yearly plan renews each year unless you cancel it, but you’ve paid the full year up front. We found no published refund policy for Premium, so ask support before buying.
How much does Jdub Trades cost?
Jdub Trades Premium costs $200 a month, $2,400 a year or $3,000 once at Whop’s checkout, as of November 4, 2026. The yearly price equals 12 monthly payments, so only the one-time plan saves money, and only after 15 months. The Free Trading Community costs nothing.

What is the difference between Jdub Trades and Scarface Trades?

Reader questions
What people actually ask us
Is the paid group better than Jdub's free YouTube?
Asked on r/Daytrading
It adds live sessions and feedback, not secret strategies. Jack's free YouTube already has a 2 hour 57 minute beginner guide, and Reddit users call it good free content. Watch that first. Pay only if you want to trade alongside him live.
Why did a member call it VERY expensive?
Asked on Whop review, written 4 months after purchase
The member paid to learn options, then saw a free options training video come out. They also couldn't use IBKR, the broker the team trades on, and got no tutorials for another platform. Check that your broker works before you pay $200.
Is jdubtrade.com the official site?
Asked on Google results for jdub trades review
No. Its own footer says it is an independent affiliate site, not affiliated with Jdub Trades LLC. It lists $1,499 a year and $2,999 lifetime. Whop's checkout shows $2,400 and $3,000. Trust the checkout.
How long before members see results?
Asked on Iyanda Okin, YouTube review, July 2025
One affiliate reviewer says his first $1,700 week came in month three of daily live calls. That's one person's claim with an affiliate link attached. Jdub Trades publishes no member results data, so plan on months of practice.
