This Skylit Heatseeker review starts with today’s prices, because the old ones are still everywhere. Skylit Heatseeker is an options data tool that maps where market makers are positioned. It is sold on Whop and skylit.ai. As of November 3, 2026 it costs $149 a month for Community, $349 for Initiate and $699 for Pro, and all sales are final.
We have not subscribed to Skylit. We built this review from skylit.ai’s pricing and FAQ, the Whop store, 299 Trustpilot reviews, 573 Whop reviews, and three independent YouTube reviews from July and August 2026 (Real or Fake, Products Road and Hustle Audit). Should You Buy Skylit Heatseeker?
Skylit Heatseeker is worth it for active SPX, SPY and QQQ options traders who understand gamma, want live dealer positioning, and can treat $149 to $349 a month as a small cost. It is a poor fit for beginners who want trade calls. Skylit’s FAQ says it does not send trade alerts or signals.
Buy it if you trade index options most days and you’ll study the Academy before trusting a level.
Skip it if you want picks, you trade a small account, or you need single-stock maps but can’t justify $699 a month.
The catch: No refunds and no paid trial. Your cheapest real test is one month of Community at $149, after you’ve used the free 60 minutes a day of Live Stages.
Options carry real risk. A buyer can lose the whole premium, and some strategies can lose more. The Options Clearing Corporation’s Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options explains how. This review is not financial advice.
What Is Skylit Heatseeker?
Skylit Heatseeker is a dealer positioning map for options traders, and one module of the wider Skylit platform. It shows gamma exposure (GEX) and vanna exposure (VEX) by strike, refreshed live, so you can see where market makers may need to hedge. Skylit stars the strongest level on the map and calls it the King Node.
Skylit’s founder trades under the handle Glitch (glitchspx on Whop). Skylit says it licenses its market data directly from OPRA, NASDAQ and CBOE. The dealer positioning is Skylit’s own calculation. Exchanges don’t publish that number.
The other Skylit modules decide which plan you need:
- Heatseeker Bot: index maps every 15 seconds inside Discord. On every plan.
- Flowseeker: real-time options flow. On every plan.
- Atlas: charting with dealer walls, flow and dark pool levels on the candles.
- Talon: an AI agent. Pro only.
- Tempest (Beta): implied volatility and expected-move ranges. Pro only.
- Nexus (Beta): paper trading with a $100,000 paper wallet and a leaderboard.
How Much Does Skylit Heatseeker Cost in 2026?
Skylit Heatseeker costs $149, $349 or $699 a month, depending on the plan, as of November 3, 2026. A fourth Skylit plan, Developer, costs $349 a month and gives API access with no web trading tools. skylit.ai and the Whop store list the same four prices.
| Plan | Monthly price | What you get | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skylit Community | $149 | Discord, Heatseeker Bot (index maps), Flowseeker, Live Stages, Academy | Learning to read the maps |
| Skylit Initiate | $349 | Heatseeker Lite web terminal on 63 index and ETF symbols, Atlas for indices and futures | SPX, SPY, QQQ, IWM traders |
| Skylit Pro | $699 | Heatseeker on 5,000+ tickers, Atlas for everything, Talon AI, Tempest, 1:1 sessions, 100,000 API credits | Single-stock and multi-ticker traders |
| Skylit Developer | $349 | Every API endpoint and MCP tool, 5,000+ tickers of data, no web app | People building their own tools |
skylit.ai’s billing toggle shows 14% off for 3 months, 25% off for 6 months and 40% off annual. Trade Echo, a competing GEX tool, listed Skylit Pro at $4,999 a year on its comparison page, checked October 13, 2026. Because no Skylit sale is refundable, an annual plan locks in the full year.
How did Skylit’s prices change?
Skylit raised Community and Initiate prices in fall 2026 and left Pro alone. The new checkout plan IDs carry the date 20260929, which points to a change around September 29, 2026.
| Plan | Before (2025 to mid-2026) | Now (Nov 3, 2026) | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skylit Community | $99.99/mo, or $948 a year | $149/mo | +49% |
| Skylit Initiate | $299/mo | $349/mo | +17% |
| Skylit Pro | $699/mo | $699/mo | none |
| Skylit Developer | did not exist | $349/mo | new |
The old prices come from third-party reviews published before the change (Self Made Newbie, a Gamma review page and a Google Sites review) and from YouTube reviews dated July 15 and August 5, 2026. The old one-week paid Pro trial is gone too. The third-party reviews on page one of Google still quote the old prices.
What Does Skylit Cost Against Your Account Size?
Skylit’s yearly cost matters more than its monthly price, because the fee comes out of the same money you trade with. Billed monthly, Skylit Community costs $1,788 a year, Initiate $4,188 and Pro $8,388. On a $25,000 account, that’s 7.2%, 16.8% or 33.6% of your capital each year before a single trade.
| Plan (billed monthly) | Per year | $10,000 account | $25,000 account | $100,000 account |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Skylit Community ($149) | $1,788 | 17.9% | 7.2% | 1.8% |
| Skylit Initiate ($349) | $4,188 | 41.9% | 16.8% | 4.2% |
| Skylit Pro ($699) | $8,388 | 83.9% | 33.6% | 8.4% |
A trader with $25,000 on Pro needs a 33.6% return in a year just to pay for the data, before commissions and losing trades. The annual discount cuts the figure by up to 40%, but you pay it all up front with no refund.
We’d keep a data subscription under about 5% of the account per year, so the tool can’t eat most of a decent year’s return. By that rule, Community fits accounts from about $35,000, Initiate from about $85,000 and Pro from about $170,000. These thresholds are our arithmetic, not Skylit’s guidance.
Which Skylit Plan Do You Need?
Skylit Initiate at $349 is the plan most index options traders need, and Skylit Pro at $699 makes sense only if you trade single stocks. Community at $149 is a learning plan with index maps in Discord and no web terminal. Pick by the tickers you trade, because single-stock maps exist only on Pro.
- You trade SPX, SPY or QQQ only: Skylit Initiate ($349) covers 63 index and ETF symbols in the web terminal.
- You want to learn first: Skylit Community ($149) gives you index maps in Discord, the Academy and Live Stages.
- You trade single stocks: only Skylit Pro ($699) has single-stock Heatseeker and single-stock Atlas.
- You trade futures: Skylit Initiate includes Atlas for futures. Aethos, Skylit’s futures execution tool, is marked Coming in Q4.
- You build tools: Skylit Developer ($349) gives you the API and MCP tools but none of the web trading tools.
Switching plans prorates your unused time as credit, according to the FAQ. So the cheapest path is Community for a month, then Initiate, then Pro only if you outgrow 63 symbols. One skylit.ai member review describes exactly that path: Community in month one, Initiate in month two, Pro in month three.
Is Skylit Legit or a Scam?
Skylit is a real data business with published prices, published refund terms and 3,630 members on Whop. It licenses exchange data from OPRA, NASDAQ and CBOE. Legit doesn’t mean profitable, though. Skylit makes no promise of results, and the star ratings below measure satisfaction, not returns.
| Source | Rating | Reviews | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Whop (whop.com/heatseeker) | 4.87 (badge shows 4.9) | 573 | Mixes every plan into one score |
| Trustpilot (skylit.ai) | 4.9 | 299 | Labelled “asks customers to review” and “hasn’t replied to negative reviews” |
| Older Whop snapshot (2025) | 4.83 | 313 | Per-tier scores then: Pro 4.86, Initiate 4.50 |
Three things keep those ratings from being the whole story. Trustpilot shows a cluster of reviews dated July 30 and 31, 2026. The cheaper Initiate tier scored lower than Pro in 2025. An old Whop FAQ also quoted the creator’s personal accuracy as “up to 85-90%”. That claim is no longer on skylit.ai, and nobody has verified it.
Two of the top five Google results for this keyword are affiliate pages on free hosts (Mintlify and Google Sites) with first-person titles. Both quote the old prices.
What Do Skylit Users Complain About?
Skylit users complain most about the $699 Pro price, the steep learning curve and features that sit on higher tiers. We read the complaints on Trustpilot, Whop and Reddit, plus the Real or Fake, Products Road and Hustle Audit YouTube reviews. Here are the complaints we found most often.
- Price. Pro at $699 is the objection we saw most. A Trustpilot reviewer put it as “Would recommend to all traders if subscription cost is not an issue.”
- Learning curve. Trustpilot’s summary of its reviews says the platform has a steep learning curve and takes real time. A 3-star reviewer wrote, “Good, need to learn a lot before properly making full use of this.”
- Community lost features. A July 2026 Trustpilot review titled “bring the screen sharing back to community members” says map screen sharing was taken away from Community.
- No refunds. The FAQ says all sales are final, except where the law requires a refund.
- Unfinished modules. Nexus, Tempest and the API are Beta. Arc and Aethos are marked Coming in Q4, and Forge is Coming soon.
- No native phone app. Skylit has an installable web app and a Mac desktop beta for Apple Silicon only.
Members praise the education. “You actually LEARN the market versus just taking alerts,” one Trustpilot reviewer wrote. A Whop reviewer was blunter: “This is not a signal group, and if that’s what you’re looking for, you’re the problem.”
How Does Skylit Heatseeker Compare With Trade Echo, Bullflow and Quant Data?
Skylit Heatseeker is the priciest GEX tool in this group once you need single stocks, at $699 a month for Pro. Trade Echo sells one $199 plan. Skylit’s edge is the Academy, Live Stages and a large Discord built around the tool. Trustpilot lists Bullflow and Quant Data as similar companies.
| Tool | What it is | Starting price | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skylit Heatseeker | Dealer positioning (GEX) maps | $149/mo, $699/mo for single stocks | 63 symbols on Initiate, 5,000+ on Pro |
| Trade Echo | GEX and options flow platform | $199/mo, one plan | Says 1,300+ real-time GEX tickers and native mobile apps (its own page) |
| Bullflow | Options flow scanner | Check vendor | 4.3 on Trustpilot from 48 reviews |
| Quant Data | Options flow and dark pool data | Check vendor | 4.3 on Trustpilot from 17 reviews |
Treat the Trade Echo row with care. Trade Echo wrote that comparison to sell its own product. Skylit also publishes a “best GEX tools” list, and Skylit wrote that one.
Choose Skylit if you want the education around the data. Choose a cheaper tool if you only need single-stock GEX. If you want a trader’s alerts instead of a data tool, compare The Options Cartel at $125 a month or Jdub Trades at $200.
Who Should Skip Skylit Heatseeker?
Skip Skylit Heatseeker if you want trade picks, if your account is too small for the fee, or if you can’t put in study time. Skylit sends no signals, so the tool only helps someone who will learn to read it. If you keep data costs under 5% of your account per year, Community needs an account of about $35,000, Initiate about $85,000 and Pro about $170,000.
- You want someone to tell you what to buy.
- Your account is below those thresholds for the plan you’d need.
- You can’t attend Live Stages or work through the Academy.
- You need a refund option before trying something new.
- You mainly trade single stocks but won’t pay $699 a month.
A data subscription doesn’t remove trading risk. Skylit says it sends no signals, so every trade decision stays yours.
Skylit Heatseeker FAQ
Is Skylit Heatseeker worth it?
Skylit Heatseeker is worth it for experienced index options traders with accounts big enough to absorb $149 to $349 a month. Members rate it 4.87 from 573 Whop reviews. It is not worth it for beginners who want signals, because Skylit sends none.
Does Skylit offer a free trial or refunds?
No. Skylit’s FAQ says all sales are final, with no refunds unless the law requires one, and paid plans have no trial. A free account gets 60 minutes of Live Stages a day and unlimited replay.
Is there a Skylit promo code?
Skylit’s official pricing page lists no promo code as of November 3, 2026. YouTube affiliates advertise “50% off” codes, but we could not confirm them on skylit.ai. The billing toggle’s 3, 6 and 12 month discounts (14%, 25% and 40%) are the official savings.
How do I cancel Skylit?
Cancel from the Skylit billing page, or from your Whop account if you bought on Whop. Your access runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Does Heatseeker work for futures?
Partly. Skylit Initiate includes Atlas charting for indices and futures. Skylit’s futures execution tool, Aethos, is marked Coming in Q4 2026.

Reader questions
What people actually ask us
Why do so many reviews say Community is $99.99?
Asked on Google results for skylit heatseeker review, October 2026
They were written before Skylit repriced. Community was $99.99 and Initiate $299 through mid-2026. On November 3, 2026, skylit.ai and Whop both show $149 and $349. Pro stayed at $699.
Is Skylit Pro too expensive for a map?
Asked on r/TradingEdge
For most retail accounts, yes. A Reddit user balked at "$600 a month", and the real Pro price is $699. Billed monthly that comes to $8,388 a year. That is 34% of a $25,000 account before you place a trade. It only makes sense if you trade size and need single-stock maps.
Did Skylit take features away from Community?
Asked on Trustpilot review, July 2026
One Trustpilot reviewer says Heatseeker map screen sharing was removed for Community members and called it a big blow. Skylit has not replied on Trustpilot. Today Community gets index maps through the Discord bot only, with no web terminal.
Can a beginner use Heatseeker?
Asked on r/Daytrading
Beginners can learn it, but it takes study. Trustpilot's own summary mentions a steep learning curve. Start with the free 60 minutes of Live Stages a day, then one month of Community, before you pay for a terminal.
