This Options Cartel review weighs 570 member ratings against what the group doesn’t publish. The Options Cartel (TOC) is an options trading Discord sold on Whop and run by Sean Trades, a Miami-based trader. Full Access costs $125 a month as of November 3, 2026, or $299 for 3 months, $999.99 a year, or $2,199 once. A free tier and a separate $45 futures product also exist.

We have not joined The Options Cartel. We built this review from the Whop product page and checkout (read November 3, 2026), all 570 Whop ratings, the @TheOptionCartel and @SRxTrades accounts on X, XTraderHub’s June 2026 review, optionsalertsreview.com and a July 2026 Products Road YouTube review. Is The Options Cartel Worth It?

The Options Cartel is worth $125 a month for an options trader who already manages risk and wants to watch several traders’ live positions, and it is not worth it for anyone hoping to copy alerts into profit. The two harshest Whop reviews we read came from members who copied trades and lost money. For anyone staying a year, the $999.99 annual plan cuts the cost to $83.33 a month.

New traders should stay on the free tier first, and so should anyone who wants proof of results or for whom $125 is a real share of their account. TOC publishes no audited track record, and Whop shows no refund policy or trial for Full Access, so your first month is a $125 bet.

Options carry real risk. A buyer can lose the whole premium, and some strategies can lose more. The Options Clearing Corporation’s Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options explains how. This review is not financial advice.

What Do Options Cartel Members Say?

Options Cartel members praise the variety of traders and the teaching, and the members who complain describe losing money while following trades. The 570 Whop ratings average 4.8 as of October 31, 2026, with 501 five-star and 11 one-star ratings. Whop collects these from buyers on its own store, and no third party audits them.

The Options Cartel reviews tab on Whop with a 4.80 rating from 570 ratings and a recent 1-star review

“There is something for everyone and an impressive amount of material available here,” one member wrote. Another said the 3K challenge with Will “has taught me sizing very well.” A two-year member called it “Super legit.”

The criticism is about money lost. A member writing 4 months after purchase said: “They make their income from our membership fees because they are horrible at trading. Nothing but losses.” A 5-month member wrote: “I entered with a 7k account and im leaving with a 5k account. Plus the added cost of the monthly payments.”

Timing matters when you read these. Of the top reviews Whop showed on October 31, one was written 3 days after purchase. The two harshest reviews we read came 4 and 5 months in. A member who studies the setups and sizes small has a different experience from one who copies every alert. As one 4-star reviewer put it, “it is up to every individual trader to manage risk.”

Does The Options Cartel Publish Its Results?

The Options Cartel publishes no audited track record or win rate, so you can’t check how its alerts perform overall. XTraderHub’s June 2026 review noted “no publicly visible win rate or verified track record.” What you see instead are winning trades on the brand’s X account, @TheOptionCartel, such as a 78% gain on $SPCX posted October 28, 2026. Those posts show what worked, but not what didn’t, how big the positions were or when they were entered. On October 19 the same account admitted that “October has been a slower month.” A useful record would list every alert with its entry, exit, size and date, including the losers. Ask in the free Discord whether a full alert log exists. If it doesn’t, judge the group on what it teaches you, not on what it posts.

How Much Does The Options Cartel Cost?

The Options Cartel Full Access costs $125 a month on Whop as of November 3, 2026. The checkout offers three longer plans: $299 for 3 months (Whop labels it 20% off), $999.99 a year (34% off) and $2,199 as a one-time purchase. The annual plan is the best value for anyone who stays a year, at $500 less than 12 monthly payments.

PlanPricePer month12-month cost24-month cost
Free$0$0$0$0
Monthly$125$125$1,500$3,000
Quarterly$299 / 3 months$99.67$1,196$2,392
Annual$999.99 / year$83.33$999.99$1,999.98
One-time$2,199n/a$2,199$2,199

TOC Futures is a separate $45 a month ($540 a year) and isn’t in this table.

The one-time plan beats monthly after about 18 months, since $2,199 is 17.6 payments of $125. Against the annual plan it takes about 26 months ($2,199 divided by $83.33). Pay monthly for the first month, then switch to annual if you’re staying. Don’t buy lifetime on day one.

Older reviews quote $99.99 a month. That price is out of date.

What’s Included in Options Cartel Full Access?

The Options Cartel Full Access is a $125-a-month Discord membership with real-time entry and exit alerts on Sean’s trades, daily live sessions and options education. You get access to all of Sean’s active positions, so you can see his reasoning as trades happen. The Whop page lists five inclusions:

  • Real-time entry and exit alerts for every trade
  • Live trading sessions daily
  • Access to all of Sean’s active positions
  • Swing trading and options strategy training
  • Direct market education from live examples

The Options Cartel products on Whop: Full Access at $125 a month, a free tier and TOC Futures at $45 a month

The Whop FAQ also names a Custom Flow Bot. The public page doesn’t explain what it does, and XTraderHub’s June 2026 review flagged the same gap.

TOC Futures is a separate $45-a-month product with its own crash course, run by Jacob Overbay. Its Whop card showed 41 members on October 31, 2026. XTraderHub implies futures come with Full Access, but Whop sells them separately, so check before you pay twice.

The free tier offers “free access to education, trade ideas, and a supportive community” and Whop rates it 4.7. Use it to see how the team talks before paying.

Who Runs The Options Cartel?

The Options Cartel is run by Sean Trades (Whop handle @seanrechtman), who lists Miami as his base. He has sold on Whop since April 2023, according to optionsalertsreview.com. His X account, @SRxTrades, had 141,629 followers on October 31, 2026, and his bio reads “Options + equities trader | Founder of @TheOptionCartel | 24”. XTraderHub and member reviews name several other traders on the team.

  • Will, a trader on The Options Cartel team, runs a “3K challenge” that trades a small account in public. One member review says Will placed 5th in the US Investing Championship 2025. We couldn’t confirm that result elsewhere.
  • Jacob Overbay runs TOC Futures.
  • XTraderHub also lists Bryant Ward, Adi and Marc-Anthony Marcelin.

Sean’s recent marketing runs through free live events. He held a free 3-day swing trading event on Zoom from October 27 to 29, 2026.

How Does The Options Cartel Compare to Other Options Groups?

The Options Cartel is at the low end on price among paid options groups at $125 a month, tied with Boka Trading. Home of RTA costs $149.99 and Jdub Trades $200. Skylit is a data tool rather than an alert group. The Boka and Home of RTA prices come from optionsalertsreview.com.

CommunityMonthly priceNote
The Options Cartel$125Alerts plus education, free tier
Boka Trading$125Same price point
Home of RTA$149.99Ranked above TOC by optionsalertsreview; no refunds
Skylit Heatseeker$149 to $699A data tool, sends no signals
Jdub Trades Premium$200Course plus live sessions, no verified P&L

Choose The Options Cartel if you want several traders and live alerts at $125, with an annual plan to cut the cost. Choose Jdub Trades if you want one teacher’s structured course. Choose Skylit if you want data and no calls at all.

Who Should Not Join The Options Cartel?

Don’t join The Options Cartel Full Access if you plan to copy every alert, if $125 a month is a large share of your trading account, or if you need a refund option before you buy.

The two harshest reviews we read came from members who followed trades and lost money over 4 and 5 months. Whop shows no refund policy for Full Access, so a bad first month can’t be undone. Skip it too if you want a verified track record before paying, since none is published. The daily live sessions run during US market hours, so a 9-to-5 job in the US makes them hard to use. If any of these fit, join the free tier, watch how the team works for a few weeks, and decide then.

Reader questions

What people actually ask us

Do members actually make money following the alerts?

Asked on Whop review, written 5 months after purchase

Whop reviews show mixed results, and The Options Cartel publishes no totals. One 5-month member wrote that he entered with a 7k account and left with a 5k account, plus the monthly fees. Another praised the 3K challenge for teaching position sizing. Treat the alerts as examples to learn from, not a plan.

Is lifetime access worth $2,199?

Asked on Whop review (Jumas)

Only if you'll stay a long time. $2,199 equals 17.6 months of the $125 plan, and it only beats the $999.99 annual plan after about 26 months. One member called lifetime worth it, but they had already been in for 3 months.

What is the Custom Flow Bot?

Asked on Whop FAQ for The Options Cartel Full Access

It's a tool inside the Discord that the Whop FAQ lists by name. The public page doesn't explain what it does, and XTraderHub flagged the same gap. Ask in the free Discord before you pay for it.

Is The Options Cartel good for beginners?

Asked on Google People Also Ask

Beginners do best starting free. The paid alerts move fast, and the negative reviews come from members who followed trades and lost money. Will's 3K challenge is the part members say teaches small-account sizing best.
